Asch with his sword drawn
Anywho, this is the last deviation (probably... today at least..) I'll be uploading of this doll, then I'll move on to something else. Something that won't take me three months to finish.
Right then! Pretend that each of the pictures above has a number next to it.
1. Nothing much to say here, as its nothing much new from the "Enter the Evil Noble" deviation, except now there's no glare on his face, and you can see his eyes now. Because of his eyes, I can no longer say that my dolls are 100% yarn.
Pffft, at least wool roving is still considered fiber. >.> Anyway, I definitely have room for improvement with needle felting, but at least it looks better than the yarn eyes I'd been making previously, and it doesn't look as cheap as acrylic felt.
2. Look at that sexy flat nose! And a functional scabbard with a crocheted sword that is insanely fun to swing around at my cat.
3. Ugh, that design took forever to get to look halfway right. Also, since they were covered by the scabbard in the side shot, I'd like to point out that Asch's boots have a heel to them.
4. The pants, tunic, and belt, which we never actually see in the game or anime. I based the tunic off of how it appears in Vol. 2 of the Asch the Bloody manga, but since it didn't show the pants, I just guessed and made them plain black pants (as opposed to leggings or something) I also did the "Loving Son" hair style, partly because I wanted to show that the doll is capable of multiple styles, but mostly because I think it looks better than his cockatiel style. He's also leaning against the banister because apparently, the boots and tabard have some kind of magical balancing power that make him stand upright on his own, but without them, the weight of his hair makes him fall over.

6. Nakie time! And before you ask, he's totally a Ken doll down there. I just put the rappig in because missing nether regions just looks... unnatural.
7. BUTT CHEEKS!
Also, Asch has really thick hair. But mostly butt cheeks. 
And now I realize that I screwed up on some details. I did something backwards and then ended up omitting a detail all together. >.< Both of them would be easy fixes, but I'm not going to bother with it unless someone points it out. HAPPY HUNTING
